Miniature Figures 1

|
The following pages contain images of my
miniature figures, which I both sculpt and paint.
This vignette is entitled "Eye Deep In Hell". It depicts a German
Stormtrooper attacking a contested trench during the spring offensive of 1918, during 'The Great War'. The scale is
1/32; the figure is heavily modified from a plastic kit, while the skeleton and 'environment' are scratchbuilt. A detailed article
about its construction can be found at the web site Digital Dioramas
.

"EYE DEEP IN HELL" The skeleton's
rib cage is made of two-part epoxy putty, using bees' wax as a form. Once set, the bees' wax was melted away, leaving
the open rib cage.
