Scale Model Aircraft 1
|
|
Each of these aircraft models is 1/72
scale (average wingspan between 3 and 6 inches) and constructed from either a 'vac' kit, where only the large components
are provided from vacuum-formed styrene, an injected 'styrene' kit (the most common and well-known type) or 'resin',
a hand-poured process mastered by model makers in Eastern Europe. In each case, most of the detail is added from scratchbuilt
parts. Each model is hand-painted, with custom-made markings.
